PRAYER FOR PORTLAND
We have been called to Portland, Oregon, to join a remnant of saints there to walk and pray for 52 days. God says it is time for revival to come to the United States, and it will start in this city. II Corinthians 10:3 Prayer
Father, we thank You for Your Word that instructs us in the way of life. Your ways work, Lord; our ways don’t work. We don’t have power and ability in ourselves to do this, but You do. So we thank You for the truth of Your Word.
Thank You for Your promise, that You would release Your mighty power through us, as we intercede to tear down, and demolish the prison of the evil one, his stronghold in the place in the unbelievers from which he rules and holds them captive. We declare that the thought processes, the belief systems of this world, the logismos, the unbelievers’ own perceived wisdom is being demolished NOW in Jesus’ Name. We declare that the unbelievers’ pride and everything that exalts itself against God is being demolished NOW. Every thought, scheme, and plan of Satan is being rooted out NOW! Strategies that Satan has used to control the unbelievers are being stopped NOW in Jesus’ Name. They will bow their knee to Jesus and they will obey His truth. We declare the prodigals are coming home NOW in Jesus’ Name! We take dominion over every strategy that keeps them blinded to the truth. We ask You, Holy Spirit, to draw them, woo them, convict them into the Father’s house. Give them dreams, visions, and send labors or whatever You need to do to bring them to Your salvation. We release it NOW and call it done in Jesus’ Name! Amen!

PORTLAND CRAFTED PRAYER
This prayer was crafted by about 25 people who met to seek the Lord concerning His plans for Portland. Using common threads showing through visions or words given, this prayer came about as what God wants us to pray:
Papa,
We worship You for Your love, grace and mercy.
Thank You for loving the city of Portland.
Thank You that Your love for Portland is extravagant, extreme, extraordinary and overcomes.
We pray for the salvation of the people of Portland, that they will be overthrown by an experience and a revelation of Your love.
We pray that You would reveal Your kindness to them that leads them to repentance, and that in them You would place new hearts and new spirits.
And in this place of new life in You, they would begin to see the sanctity of marriage and life.
We pray that all abortion stops in Portland.
That clinics would begin to shut down, until none are left.
Lord we ask that You would dispel all darkness covering the city.
Make Portland a lighthouse, a light for all the world that can never be put out,
nor one that can ever be hidden.
Open the city gates, so that 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Portland can be seen as a city set on a hill, where liberty, freedom and healing are normal.
Papa, we thank You for the light You’ve put within each one of us.
As we walk and drive the city streets, as we meet and talk with people, we ask that the light of Your love, the light of Jesus would shine so brightly through us, that people have to shield their eyes.
And in those moments Your love would flow out of us and lead those we meet into an experience of Your unfailing love and forgiveness.
Lord, please put in us a revelation and understanding of how important this time for Portland is to You.
That what You find important, we would find equally important.
Place a burning passion within us that creates a persistence in prayer, worship and relationship with You.
We ask that the fire of Your Spirit would burn intensely in each one of us, removing everything that isn’t from You, purifying our lives.
Take our prayer, worship and relationship with You to the next level, eliminating all inability to persist and the ability to lose heart.
We know that by Your hand, this city will be Yours.
From the secret place we come to You;
To watch, to pray, to fight,
To learn and to experience the transformation and victory over a city You love so deeply.
We're overwhelmingly confident in this truth:
What is impossible for man, is absolutely, 100%, easily possible and accomplished with You.
In the Jesus, whose blood was enough,
The one we are tethered to for all eternity,
In His name, for His sake, we ask and pray all these things,
